1. Current use
The platform currently uses essential or functional storage only. It does not currently run advertising pixels or behavioral analytics cookies. A consent banner is therefore not used for non-essential tracking; one must be introduced before any optional analytics, advertising, or profiling technology is enabled.
2. Browser records
- Language preference: a first-party functional cookie retained for up to one year so the website can remember Arabic or English.
- Secure sign-in records: first-party session and security records used to keep signed-in users authenticated; duration follows the configured session and sign-out controls.
- Public traffic counter: a random first-party identifier in local storage is hashed by the server and used only for aggregate unique-visitor and visit totals; no IP address, user agent, or visited route is retained by this counter.
- Portal navigation preference: device-local browser storage that remembers whether the portal sidebar is expanded or collapsed.
- Account display preferences: an account-scoped browser cache for saved theme, font, and display-size choices.
- Notification preferences: an account-scoped browser cache for notification presentation, sound, and the device-specific desktop notification choice.
3. Why this storage is used
These records support language continuity, secure account access, fraud and misuse prevention, aggregate operational traffic measurement, account preferences, portal usability, and notification controls. They are not used to sell personal data, follow visitors across websites, or build advertising profiles.
4. What is not currently used
- No advertising pixels are currently active.
- No behavioral marketing or cross-site profiling cookies are currently active.
- No optional analytics cookies are currently active.
- No social media tracking widgets are loaded merely because social links are displayed.
5. External media
YouTube videos use privacy-enhanced embedding where implemented and should load only when a visitor activates the media. YouTube may then receive technical information under its own policies. Social links open external sites and do not place their services inside the platform merely by being displayed.
6. Retention and refresh
Session records last according to the configured sign-in, inactivity, and sign-out controls. Language, display, and anonymous traffic identifiers may remain until they expire, are replaced, or are deleted from the browser. Device-only choices, such as sidebar layout or desktop notification behavior, remain on that device unless the browser storage is cleared.
7. Your controls
You can delete cookies and local storage through browser settings. Blocking authentication storage will prevent portal sign-in. Deleting local preference caches resets device-only choices, while authenticated account preferences are restored from the database after sign-in. Changes to storage technologies will be reflected in this notice and assessed before deployment.
